Ruby red pour into St. Bernardus abbey glass. Sweet and sour cherries. Slightly acidic with a woody character. I prefer the more winey and vinegary characteristics of the Grand Cru. However, this is much more quaffable.

Pours chesnut copper/red. Thin beige head. Slightly acidic aroma, a bit medicinal with earthiness and cherry as well. Flavor is nearly identical. The style percentile is exactly 50% right now, I couldn’t agree more.

Medium golden color. Not much of a nose for such a flavorfull beer. Sweet and sour. Bold taste is very different.
