The aroma is slightly sour and sweet with notes of plums and the wild fermentation - really good. The color is deep red and slightly unclear. The head is beige and long lasting. The flavor is lovely: sour and sweet with notes of black currant and plums, and it ends on a nice acidicness. A little thin for a Belgium beer - probably the 5% ABV.

(Bottle 25 cl) Beautiful appearance, almost more red than brown. Very tart but not bitter with some quite pronounced metallic notes. Quite light-bodied and extremely quenching. 200893 & 100594

ZBF2008: From tap. Pours hazy and dark brown with a lacing tan head. Dry and light roasted malt. Flavour holds that rather fruity towards cherry flavoured Rodenbach yeast with a distinct ether note. Light roasted malt flavour too. Slight sharp spiced flavour towards the finish. Goes slight dry.
