Taste is strongly of apple and there are a few hints of oak cherry and alcohol. Orange and spices aroma. Hazy, amber color, beige head, good lace. Light sweet, pretty bitter, citrus (orange, grapefruit) and several spices. Pretty thick body. bierkoning (5077), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 24, 2006 Dark golden color, frothu head. Pineapple and a touch of flowery hops in the aroma. Sweetish, malty flavor, with a flowery and earthy hoppiness powering through. Tropical fruit in the aftertaste. Well balanced with a limited alcoholcharacter. Good.
