No aroma to speak of, nothing special on the appearance either for sure. Tastes all right, a little heavy on the alcohol but not too bad. Just okay.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a huge foaming white head. Aroma is piercingly sweet and a little metallic. Flavor is odd: malty sweetness with an underlying fake fruitiness. There’s no ingredients label on this, but I suspect there’s lots of corn and adjuncts. The alcohol is strong and harsh. Lingering and unpleasant bitter aftertaste of chemicals combined with skunky sweetness. Palate is thick and syrupy. Not absolutely horrible, but one of the worst Ukrainian beers I’ve tried -- can’t finish it. Okay, I guess that means it’s pretty bad.

Bottle, 6.9%. Clear dark golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is slightly sweet, quite peppery. OK balanced at first but gets a little grainy and rough in the finish.

Bottle - 500ml. Golden body with thin white frothy head. Weak malty aroma with strange cheesy hints. Bad corny taste with chemical and alcohol notes. Ends with a short bittersweet finish. Atrocious Ukrainian rocket fuel.

Smallish white head. Deep yellow body. Sugary caramelly rubbery aroma. Dry rubbery grainy taste. A bit stale and buttery. Dry, rubbery aftertaste. Somewhat harsh. One-dimensional and somewhat flawed. (1l PET bottle from some produkty in Lviv.)

The high point of this beer is the name "Happy Monk." Its smell is of alcohol and its appearance is pretty poor with a golden body and little to no head. The taste of alcohol is a bit overwhelming, but it does have more taste than some similar beers. This is by no means a good beer, but there are certainly worse things out there.

I tasted a bottle with 7,1% ABV. It was golden, fresh and malty. Tasted light sweet and malty, with hints of alcohol. Very hoppy aftertaste for a strong lager.

SOme alcoholic flavour=disgusting. Some bitterness and rather nice palate.
