Goodgrief (1018), Middletown, Delaware, USA Apr 14, 2008 I split this beer with my dad. My pour (first) was clear and bland and just overall very similar to a macro lager. His was cloudy, had some hop bite and grassiness, but not much more than mine. Neither tasted very "imperial" nor did anything to wake me up from my boredom. Very disappointing.
doubleo (749), San Diego, California, USA Aug 22, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours hazy, golden yellow with a fizzy white head, no lace. Smells super sweet and malty, very nice. Tastes sweet malty and citrusy hoppy, nice hop presence on the taste. Full body, good carbonation. Zbong (37), Lansing, Michigan, USA Jul 28, 2008 Murky yellow color with some foamy head. Sterling hops seem good, but I would have liked to have more of them in this brew because it just tastes like an average pilsner. Sorta tastes like a better version of Labatt. jkwalking05 (171), Arlington, Texas, USA Jul 26, 2008 Yellow and clear with an ok head. Too light for a Marzen and a little cloudy for a pilsner. Slight smell of bananas. yesyouam (347), Fairport, New York, USA Jun 12, 2008 Rogue Überfest Pilsner is a cloudy, blonde lager with a fluffy white head that leaves great lacing. It has a grassy, lemony aroma with notes of bread and malt. It has a medium-light body. It’s smooth with a crisp finish. It is simple, amply bitter, has good balance and tastes a bit lemony. It’s a little plain, but the Sterling hops are unique. Not bad. blutt59 (657), Dallas, Texas, USA Jun 11, 2008 22 0z. bottle, golden yellow color with a soapy head with some lacing, nose is very tangerine and mandarin orange, very sharp, bright citrus flavors, body is a little thick but still very good
