Cloudy and light golden with a nice and frothy head. Creamy-smooth mouthfeel. Malts were wheaty, with notes of grains and sweet cereal. Hops were flowery and herbal. Slightest element of fruit (mild lemon and gentle flowers) mixed in. Pretty good pils.

(RBSG04) Hazy straw body topped by medium white head. Aroma is medium sweet, candi sugar, fruity (orange, melon). Taste is mild sweet, big bitter (herbal/rgassy), lemon. Some acidity, light-medium body. Aggressive, and good.

It says retired, but we were still able to get it at the pub in Portland. Yellow beer with a white head. Little nose (smells like beer). Some citrus flavors, but I mostly got astringent grain flavors. Okay beer, but there was something unpleasant in it.

Bottle. Looks like a typical pils, and it ain’t too well-inspired compared with Rogue’s other efforts. Flat, a bit of grain. Slightly off aftertaste.

Murky yellow, hazy nose, straw-like and crisp lemons... yeasty finish, once again the pacman comes out... not entirely bad, but doesn’t work with the grainy and crisp lemon pilsner flavors as much as with other styles.

Sample at the Philly gathering, July 10. Honey-gold, cloudy...lightly sweet nose...fairly bit bitterness, biscuity maltiness, sourdough. Quite nice.

sampled at RBSG 04 looks like a pilsener: clear golden, white head... I found it to be sour and tart and not very enjoyable.

Pours slightly hazy gold. Aroma is slightly hoppy. Flavor is of spicy hops, with a bit of citrusy hops. Nice clean maltyness. Nice aggressively hopped pils.
