Taste was a bit weaker in hops then I expected, but still excellent. Roast walnuts and slight coffe bean finishes the flavour. Long end to the palate, great stuff. dsid1127 (6), Illinois, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 25, 2009 in my opinion not as strong as the other rogue offerings. Tastes a bit like a wheat ale, with a strong hops flavor. can taste a bit of caramel, and fruit. nickd717 (1385), Palo Alto, California, USA

Bitter taste but has a great malt balance. Very hoppy amber and that is why it’s so good, also has a good roasted finish. WVHouseofBeer (390), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA

Definitely had a pretty strong coffee aroma with good caramel malty flavors. Finished dry and a little bitter. Overall it was an excellent Amber Ale.

Very pleasant aroma has some liquorice and nice hops. The hops are in balance in the flavor -is emphasized in a nice bite at the end-. There’s also liquorice and nuts. Nice beer.
