650 ml bottle purchased at Central Market in Mill Creek. Pours a dark amber (duh) color. Flavor: Very malty, with not as much hops as I would expect.

Giant frothy head, nice copper color, hoppy, with spicy nut finish (hazelnut?). Good beer from the good people at Rogue.

Jazz Guy. Pours deep amber into a shaker. Fluffy white head spider webs as it slowly recedes. Resiny hop aromas. Crisp and full with dark caramel and honey upfront. Well balanced through the middle with a lasting pine hop finish.

Pours amber tending brown with little to no head. Aromas show sweet caramel honeycombe malt with significant hop presence. Palate delivers what nose promised, finishes with substantial hop aggression.

This ale poured a deep copper colour with a nice, creamy tan coloured head that disappeared fast. To the nose there are scents of pine and hopps, juniper berries and a little malt. First taste was creamy with good carbonation and just the right amount of hopps to add a decent bitter value. The finish was just that with a nice creamy malt flavour. The palate was hoppy with a perfect bitterness to finish it off.

Bottle pours beautiful hazy amber with very small white head that quickly disapates. Aroma is faint flower and citrius hops with roasted malt backing. Flavor is hops at first then slight sweetness comes in and balances out perfect. There is a slight linger of hops burn. The carbonation is perfect and this is a all around good Amber.

Had this at Brickwall Tavern in Asbury. VERY malty. Not the first time I had this but this time it was really lacking any hops. I didn’t mind it but there are many other ambers that I would drink before it. Not sure if I had a bad bottle or what but I didn’t enjoy this brew as much as I thought. Overall, decent but somewhat of a disappointment.
