Personally haven’t had much luck with Ambers, but dug this one. Lot hoppier than other Ambers I’ve tried. jkwalking05 (1501), Arlington, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 26, 2008 Amber colored with a decent head. Crisp hop smell, that is how I like it. Crisp clean taste with hops and a slight malt accents and it has refreshing aftertaste. Much better than the other amber ale I had today. Beerman6686 (1304), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is really nice with lots of fruity and caramel notes and also some raisans. Taste is a bit of a letdown compared to the aroma with some bready and malty notes. raymondwave (882), Finland
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 20, 2008 Updated: Oct 1, 2008Bottle 0.355 l, 5.6 % 13P (China). Dark hazy red amber, lacy head. Nose is mainly fresh grapefruit, quite mild. Flavor is grapefruit sour and bitter hoppy. Straightforward hopped ale with not much depth nor complexity. Re-rate: 5.1 % from Alko. Earthier nose. Flavor is syrupy, earthy and a bit buttery. Not much better or worse than first rating. More altbierish than the bottling from China. Less like pale ale. Butters (1653), Virginia, USA

Raisin, plum, and malty aroma. Flavor of light hops and a malty backbone, bready. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Tart finish. davidCC (130), New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Pours a nice dark cloudy tan color with modest amount of off-white head. A nice complement of hops and density gives this beer a great flavor index. teebradford (47), Senatobia, Mississippi, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Kinda dry. Not my style, but OK. I prefer the dead guy. Real hoppy. The fact that this is rated higher than dead guy makes me wonder about some of the "connosiours" on here
