| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 17, 2008 12oz Bottle. Red Fox Ale. Fresh, hoppy aroma. Crisp and leafy, yet backed with a good sweep of malt. Nice balance in the nose. Pours a deep, bronzed copper with a rim of off-white. Flavor is not as clean and bright as I expected. A slightly dirty malt caramel wades through some light fermentation off-products. Mildly skunky. Interesting balance on the whole, with piney orange hops playing off of a somewhat sloppy malt body. Alcohol restrained. austone (1039), Turku; Pori, Finland

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 13, 2008 Bottle... Poured a murky, dark amber with a white head, that eventually diminished to nothing. Bitter, roasted malt aroma. Well carbonated with a strong, chalky caramel-malt presence that is followed by hops. Grainy and bread-like; Crisp, dry finish; very refreshing. Reminded me of North East IPAs. illidurit (896), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Bomber poured into my Rogue pint glass. Perfect amber color and a nice one-finger head. Toasty malt aromas with a sizable hop presence. Flavor includes a bready malt character with a chocolate tinge. Hops are citrusy with a light bitterness. Mouthfeel is very good but drinkability is hindered by a metallic note that becomes increasingly prominent with warmth. jbrus (4903), Delft, Netherlands
