Not a terrible offering from Rogue. I was pleasently surprised here, I expected this to be a retread of Yellow Snow Ale, but it is anything but. Nice mix of hops and malt in this one. Tastes like a little honey (maybe) and a nice accent of coffee. Full bodied and just slightly creamy. I would have this again.

Bottle. Hazy amber colour with large creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Malty and hoppy aroma. Sweet bitter flavor. Bitter finish.

Pours a deep bronzed amber with a thick, billowy off-white head. The aroma is toffee malt with a hint of citrus. The goes down pretty smooth with a strong bready malt flavor, along with a clean but very subtle floral/citrus flavor in the finish. There is also slight metalic off-flavor in the finish that I’m not too fond off, but otherwise this is a very solid brew.

Dark amber color with a nice frothy head. Rich toffee aroma. Fairly hoppy with a moderate nuttiness and tones of citrus., Finishes bitter with bready malts. Decently balanced.

Bottle huge thanks goes out to ang for this one, had on train on way back from edinburgh. Aroma is typically american hop character, citrus and earthy, amerber malts are also key. Taste is biscuity malts, hints of chocolate, citrus hop finish. Very nice wee session beer to have on the train.
