reddened amber with huge frothy tan head. grassy, pungent orange aroma. medium light slightly syrupy body. a small toasted maple malt flavor with a dominating bitter orange, grass, and pungent floral notes. the beer finishes sticky and bitter. strong but balanced and amazingly not over powerful.

Another soild beer from rogue. pours out a nice amber color with a larger white head. aroma was very malty with a slight mix of sweet and hops to it. flavor was very much the same, but with a dry finish. I liked this one.

Deep amber color with a ruby hue. Dark head and smells of floral hops, dark fruits and a little citrus. Toasty, breaddy and hoppy in the mouth. Nice body and smooth. A delight to sip away to.

Bottled. A clear deep/dark red beer with a nice small beige head. Overall the aroma is hoppy with flowery, herbal and fruity notes (grapefruit). Some light toasty and caramel notes too. Hoppy taste, with caramel and light roasted malt notes. Quite light body, lively carbonation ,long finsh with elevated bitterness. A hoppy that after all finds its balance. Not a masterpiece, but highly drinkable.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... you know I love me some Amber Ale! Go, Rogue, GO! The best plain ol’ Amber as far as I’m concerned, but... I’d rather just drink a Dead Guy. PS: best when purchased in the giant jug!1!!1!!

pours, you guessed it; amber. Nice looking tan head and some slight spotty lacing. Well balanced with a blast of fresh hops. I was really surprised how balanced and tasty this beer is.
