(12oz bottle): Pours a dark brown/red color, very cloudy. Good sized head, somewhat lasting, frothy, good lacing. Appealing. Sweet hoppy aroma, tempered by maltiness too. Not too strong. Malty taste, hoppy aftertaste. A little acidc on the end, letting warm up a bit...Unbalanced dry & acidic. An okay malty ale.

As many of you already know...Rogue IS a quality brewer. This one and Dead Guy are neck and neck. I think I prefer this one a little more though...

A pretty nice amber, but not overly impressive. Nice combination of malt and hops, however I would stive for a little more balance, or a better finishing hop. The aroma was nice and malty with a floral eathy hop accent. pour came off the tap a dark amber color with about 1 and a half fingers of head. flavor was nice balance that started off pretty hoppy but it faded in with the malt as the beer was drank. Finish was definitely matlier than inital sips. good medium palate. a fine amber.

Pours a deep red color with a small head. Aroma is hops with some malts and pine. Starts slightly sweet wth some roasty malts and finishes with floral bitters. Typical amber ale taste. Mouthfeel is good, very creamy. A good amber ale, but ultimately not very memorable.
