Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber brown colour with a small but dense white head. The aroma is of a bready/doughy malt with hints of caramel and prunes. The taste is of a bready caramel malt with some bitter chocolate and prune notes and an earthy piney hop. The brew has a nice moderate body with tingley carbonation, starts off sweet and finishes with a hoppy bitterness. A very solid amber ale; nice malty and hoppy flavors.

࿡cl bottle) Cloudy, dark amber colour with a thick beige foamy head. Sweet and toasty malty aroma with notes of chocolate, fruits (berries, lime), mocha and a good dash of aromatic hops. Bitter flavour with delicately sweet side effects, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Robust toast-malty base, dry mouthfeel, also light fruity accents with subtle notes of coffee and piney hops; soft toast-malty and aromatic hoppy finish with a good length. Good ྐྵ.VIII.09).

Pours a clear amber color with a thick head that settles nicely and leaves streaks down the sides of the glass. The nose is full of caramel malt and a hint of hop bitterness. As you drink it you can taste fresh hops and caramel malt on the tip of your tounge, but the malt fades and the hops take over . Overall it has plenty of carbonation and is well balanced.

An amber beer with a decent head. Aroma of sweet malt. The taste was sweet malt with a mild bitterness from the hops coming at the end. Glad I just got a single & not a sixer because this is nothing special.

Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, big lacey fluffy and stable off-white head; solid sweet toasty nose with aromatic hops underneath; solid dry bitter (-sweet) flavour, medium bodied; a robust mix of toasted malt and dry bittering hops in the lingering finish. Fine aromatic and moreish stuff........

Bottle. I’m a big fan of Rogue as a brewery, so I try to grab one or two each time I get beer. This one stood out due to the label, so I picked it up and was pleasntly surprised. Poured a deep brown, with a thick honey colored head. Aroma was dense and pleasant, and the first sip was incredible. The flavor was smooth and sweet, but not too sugary. The beer is a bit heavy, but satisfyingly so. Truly American.
