Good sized head, somewhat lasting, frothy, good lacing. Appealing. Sweet hoppy aroma, tempered by maltiness too. Not too strong. Malty taste, hoppy aftertaste. A little acidc on the end, letting warm up a bit...Unbalanced dry & acidic. An okay malty ale. jeremytoni (1123), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 28, 2007 A pretty nice amber, but not overly impressive. Nice combination of malt and hops, however I would stive for a little more balance, or a better finishing hop. The aroma was nice and malty with a floral eathy hop accent. pour came off the tap a dark amber color with about 1 and a half fingers of head. flavor was nice balance that started off pretty hoppy but it faded in with the malt as the beer was drank. Finish was definitely matlier than inital sips. good medium palate. a fine amber. JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA
