| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 19, 2007 From a 12 oz bottle poured reddish amber with a foamy cream head and nice chunks of lacing. Nose is malts, hops, and also some coffee. Nice mouthfeel and both flavor and finish a little bitter. One of more difficult styles to do well, and this ranks with the very best for this type. andyhite (293), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Mar 16, 2007 Bomber. Dude, 53 IBU’s, that explains the incredibly awesome citusy hops aroma. Deep amber color with average head that leaves a nice lacing pattern. Flavor is big malty bitterness, but not the big bitter bite I was expecting, Palate is very smooth, goes down easy, leaving that bitterness in the upper throat. theisti (1689), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 12, 2007 Bottle. Pour is hazy amber / orange. Aroma is very malty. For whatever reason, I had in my mind that this was an APA, so was surprised at the maltiness of the initial sip. Of course, when I realized it was an Amber, made more sense. Additionally, I thought this one tasted a quite a bit like Dead guy, though not as distinctive. keith0718 (160), Olathe, Kansas, USA
