| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 10, 2009 Foggy reddish pour, nice lasting head. Some dark fruits on the nose as well as fresh hops. Has some sticky malts that hit the back of the throat. Dry taste upfront, with a sting of hops as it goes over the palate. Aftertaste is still dry. Some hints of sweet fruit, but doesn’t cut through the hops. skortila (2913), Bunnik, Netherlands
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2009 Bottled. Aroma has caramel, some roast and American citric hops. Clear, red-brown coloured with an off-white head. The taste is sweet, bit bitter and has citric hops and some caramel. Medium body. Okay. Beer2000 (1828), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2009 355 ml bottle. Clear amber with a big off-white head. Aroma is strong hoppy fruity with some caramel. First impression flavor is nice and refreshing, light caramel malty with fresh hops and citrus. Not as bitter as might expected from aroma, but a nice pronounced bitterness anyway. After a few more sips this beer feels more like any ordinary ale with lots of hop aroma and a bit thin body actually. Quite nice but not outstanding.

Aroma of caramel and ale esters. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of caramel and wet grains countered by a citrus and herbal bitterness. Slight toasty notes as well. Hoppy finish. An Amber for hopheads. Not bad jfenglish (215), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 6, 2009 Bottle. Rich copper color, fluffy head. Spicy aroma, bready, Christmas Cookies. Taste starts out with sweet caramel and pepper, then gets bitter pretty fast and stays that way a bit too long. I didn’t care for the finish with this one. The bitterness didn’t have any nuance to it- no citrus or piney flavor- it was just kind of off. Love Rogue in general, but this one was just ok. madquacker (723), Canberra ACT, Australia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2009 Brown ale with a decent frothy head. Citrus is not overly sweet and enough malt to keep it grippy and interesting. Very good. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2009 2009 Bottle. Looks almost like an Irish Red, this one appears so copperish. Smells sweet and very hoppy...perhaps a hint of honey? The carbonation really kicks on this one, resulting in a sweet and bitter brew with a serious hops aftertaste.
