12 fl. oz. bottle, as Rogue American Amber Ale, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. The beer starts pouring out of the bottle by its own will. Dark amber colour, moderate beige head. Malty and bready aroma, notes of bakery and caramel, also some fruity hops, hints of spices. The flavour is malty and earthy with caramel and toffee, decent hops in the finish.

Very nice amber color. Thin head. Fresh, clean aroma... so clean it sorta smells like some sort of cleaner. Flavor is, I guess, grass and hops. Not getting into this much, but it does have more flavor and body than most ambers I’ve tried. Enh.

Pours a rich amber red. Smells of spoiled fruit. Tastes malty, but too sweet. Simple finish. Beer is not my favorite, but easy to drink.

Drank with stu and mel in a dump of a bar in lake Charles, the inbreds didn’t even know what beer this was, fuckin hicks .. Poured a dark tan-gold colour with a fine white foam head .. . dirty syrup maltiness in the nose, uhhgghh.... Tasted ok, but pretty weak in the mouth with a dirty messy finish .. . no thanks ..

Cloudy red-brown beer with small beige head. Aroma is fruitfull, sweet and even some syrup are found. Flavour is quite sweet, malty, lightly dusty and too simple without aromas refreshing fruits, sadly. Nicely quite slippery to drink. This beer is not meet my expectations, because of too simple taste. But still good beer, but this style is not my favourite.

Straight from the bottle. Solid hoppy amber. Too weird for a session. Good balance though. Just ok.

Light brown with fine, tight head. Thick malt and caramel nose, strong hop as well. Taste was a bit weaker in hops then I expected, but still excellent. Roast walnuts and slight coffe bean finishes the flavour. Long end to the palate, great stuff.

in my opinion not as strong as the other rogue offerings. Tastes a bit like a wheat ale, with a strong hops flavor. can taste a bit of caramel, and fruit.
