A deep red beer with a small orange disappearing head. The aroma is extremely hoppy with notes of sweet malt, oil, and grass. The flavor is also very hoppy with notes of caramel, grass, and some burnt notes. The hops dries out the tongue. The body is thin, and all in all this beer is not in harmony, but it is still a fine beer.

(Bottle 35, 5 cl) Clear, dark amber with a handsome, off-white head. Quite light-bodied - almost watery. Lovely caramelish nose. Dry with notes of roasted malt and caramel with a short, hoppy finish. 031205

22 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy amber with a creamy tan head. Malt and light woody hops aroma. Medium sweet first flavour impression followed by a mild breadish malt base and a solid fruity and wooden hops flavour. Goes solid bitter- and dryness into the finish. Solid, yet not much more.

Bottled, named Sea Otter Amber Ale. Reddish brown, crystal clear with small head. Flowery aroma. Lightly roasty with hard, clean mouthfeel and a rugged very bitter finish.
