Nov 18, 2003 Had the Pint + 6 oz version. Excellent Amber!! Great from beginning to end. I highly reccomend it. Like it much better than Dead Guy Ale.

Apr 12, 2005 This is a very nice brew!! Pours deep amber color with a head. Citrus aroma. Great flavor: citrus, herb, and earthy taste. Nice sweet finish from the malt. I would recommend this brew!!

Aug 11, 2005 roasted malt and hop aroma. dark amber in color. caramel and toffee flavor. excellent fruity hops and malt mix. i really enjoyed this. ive never tasted anything similar to this. best amber ale ive tried hands down.

Dec 13, 2005 Updated: Aug 1, 2006(on bottle at CPH Yeha05) Pale rusty red, small white head. Butterscotch, medicin and elderberryaromas. Water and soft carbonation. Slighty cloying, but mild finish.

OK, here goes. I want ambience in as a scoremark. I had this beer for 2.9 untill this happend to me.
In the process of going from huge beers to finding the ultimate everydatdrinkingbeer, this gem shows up again and hits me right in the solar plexus. For that two-beer-session-on-an-everyday-weeknight it has it all. All I can say is "US ale" and "balance", It jst sums it all up for me. Exelent dance withthe ingridients; a fine earthy, yet pine-ish and fruity nose. Maltflavours with a superb carbonation. And, again, that perfectly US-style balance of the hops. Finished 3 bottles within an hour, before even speaking one word of the love I felt from the first sip, just had to be sure. Now, all I need is a local brewery to make a beer like this nectar. Jul 23, 2004 beautiful dark red color with a cream colored head. Nice hoppy aroma. Well balanced flavors of malt and hops with a perfectly hoppy finish. An exellent example of this style.

Jan 19, 2002 I loved this beer. the aroma was very nice. deep amber in color. The flavor has hints of chocolate, and coffee. The finish I felt was more malty than others have stated. Very good beer.
