Had a pint on tap at Murphy’s Pub in Champaign, IL. Poured a nice amber color with a very small white head. Smelled a bit metallic when I first received it, but as it warmed I could sense some caramel and light hops. The flavor was very malty and also had a very hoppy taste. It was very refreshing. Finished a bit bitter but was overall a very enjoyable beer!

Oct 12, 2008 Growler from Rogue Brewery. Sweet smell. Slight grapefruit and hop smell. The color beautiful of amber with a lasting head. The taste is much more hoppy than i expected... I like hops so that’s not a problem but it’s suprising. The finish is defenitly a little bitter. It’s a great beer, a little more than your standard amber.

Oct 12, 2008 Bottled from Jusco supermarket, Shenzhen, China. Hazy amber brown coloured, brown head. Very nice hoppy nose. Pretty plain flavour, just some bitterness. Nice aroma, but the flavour can not live up to it.

Oct 11, 2008 hazy amber color, fluffy off-white head, slight lacing. sweet malt and grain in the nose. the sweetness of the aroma is repeated in the flavor. at least the sweetness is not cloying. medium bodied, oily mouthfeel. fizzy. a bit too sweet for my taste. not bad, just not in my wheel-house.

Oct 5, 2008 Hmmm. Not quite sure what to make of this one. A little more of a bitter finish than I like...very malty. Not quite as smooth as I like an amber ale.
