| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Draught at The Local Taphouse, Sydney.Appears dark copper with a laced beige head. Rich toffee malts, caramel, coffee, nuts and fruity hops. Heaps of flavour coming through and truly compliments the overall balance of this beer. True US style amber ale with a smooth hoppy finish. Very nice and has a welcomed freshness from the keg, which I’ve noticed with other Rogue ales. Gravelle (100), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 16, 2009 Bottled, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Reddish amber with white head. Sweetish malts dominate this beer with a light, roasty fruity character, some apricot, peachy notes, then a light hop giving an even fruitier depth. Decent and drinkable. douglas88 (1646), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

A sweet flavor as well, but with loads of bitter balance; caramel and toasted malts, light bitter hops. Pretty good. elgiacomo (89), Chickamauga, Georgia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 11, 2009 It pours a nice little amber haze with small white head and decent lacing. The nose is of hops and caramel, while the initial taste is hoppy up front with a slight bitterness and a nice caramel malt backbone that really started to come out after this warmed up a bit. The body seemed a little on the lighter side, even for a amber ale - which improves drinkability even more. All in all a pretty decent amber, nothing too special. donfardz64 (427), Wellington, New Zealand
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Pours amber, off white head. Aroma is very malty, full of caramel. Hops show well with a citrusy zing.
Initially malt dominates with sweet caramel. Hops enter the fray with a dry bitterness which lasts long into the finish.
