Very pleasant aroma has some liquorice and nice hops. The hops are in balance in the flavor -is emphasized in a nice bite at the end-. There’s also liquorice and nuts. Nice beer.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Pours amber, off white head. Aroma is very malty, full of caramel. Hops show well with a citrusy zing.
Initially malt dominates with sweet caramel. Hops enter the fray with a dry bitterness which lasts long into the finish. smith4498 (902), Miami, Florida, USA

Seamlessly blends in to some medium hops which are not overly bitter. Tastes a little English Ale to me! mkel07 (526), Brisbane, Australia

Aroma of honey, hops and a background taste of latte. Smooth with a well hopped finish that is long on the palate. Another great brew from the team at Rogues. Appearance:
Pours amber, off-white creamy head, vanilla, toffee, caramel, malty aroma, roasted cereal. there is some grapefruit somewhere in there.
Taste:
I have to begin by saying the mouth feel is superb, smoooooth. There is bitterness in the mid and more so towards the back. Herbacious, malty caramel. Great structure.
Good stuff. VillageBeerVin (15), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2009 A dark amber pour with a nice frothy tan head. Nutty roasted malt aroma. Fairly thin beer for something this dark. Flavor is a mix of toasty malt and light grapefruit pith bitterness and floweriness from the hops. A bit sour as well, but makes it that much smoother. Lingering bitter sting like that of a grapefruit. Almost like a darker English Bitter with American hops. Decent session. dimenhetfield (191), , Florida, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2009 Pours a dark amber with a nice off white head. Aroma is of citrus (mainly grapefruit), caramel, pine resin and malt. Tastes very malty, some grapefruit taste. Long bitter after taste that I did not expect. Interesting... But not great and not worth the money.
