Nov 13, 2009 Ceramic bottle. Brownish pour. Nice malt and hops combine in the aroma. Pine hops, bread, light spices and some brown sugar. Flavor is bitter and sweet. Some light spices and honey shows up as well.

Sep 23, 2009 Bottled. Nice brown pour with off tan head. Nice mild pine, and malt aroma. A tart fruit taste witha bitter hop finish. Pretty damn good.

Sep 12, 2009 This capped and caged ceramic bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy with a frothy top light brown colored bubbles that were and left behind a hazy typically carbonated brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The aroma was malty and mild spice. . The flavor contained notes of hops mild spice and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Sep 6, 2009 Bottle. Heavy malt aromas of roasted, caramel and milk chocolate, moderate hop notes of herb and resin, light dough and leather for yeast, with hints of date, toffee, brown sugar and a little pepper. Head is small, creamy, off-white with good lacing and good legs, and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky dark red/brown. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic and lightly bitter, then the extra long finish is lightly sweet and acidic, and heavily bitter. Palate is medium to full, creamy, with a soft carbonation and a chalky, moderately astringent and very dry finish. Wow, what an assault of flavors. Malt dominant but well balanced by the hops. This is a first rate American Strong Ale.

May 27, 2009 Big sweet malt backbone with heavy brown sugar and even sugar cookie malt. Plum and raisin present with a strong toffee finish. A little too sweet.

May 9, 2009 Handbottled 2008 bomber from Enniskillen. Nose of floral and citrusy hops with toffee and brown sugar. Hazy cherry amber with a nicely lacing half finger beige head. Flavor is nicely bitter with caramel and toffee. Finish is bitter with some lingering toffee. Like a lighter barleywine!

Apr 29, 2009 2008 Bottle. Brown in color with a big tan head. Grainy malt aroma with a bit of malt character and some dank hops. Bitter earthy hop flavor with some sweet malt and a lingering bitter finish. Aroma is mostly malt and the flavor has a ton of hops. Very deceptive and well played, Rogue.
