Mildly sweet english malts dominate the aroma, mildly aromatic, not hugely, toffee... Very traditional english flavor with a slightly american twist, semi sweet toffee underlies a dry mildly bitter body, with hops that are more used for bittering than flavor... Nice american interpretation watson1977 (265), , Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 10, 2009 Pours a hazy amber color with a nice off white creamy head that lasts for a period. The head leaves attractive lacing behind. The aroma is rich with the smell of flowers, lemons, sweet fruits, and maybe a touch of caramel. The flavor profile is initially sweet giving off tastes of grapefruits and some earth. The flavor changes quickly to being fairly bitter where the hops really come through. The finish long and bitter. Overall, it’s a fine beer. liinis (709), Helsinki, Finland
