Dec 8, 2008 Bottle. A cloudy medium amber beer with a rich, creamy, lacing and persistent beige head. Hoppy aroma, with floral and herbal notes, but a good malt charachter. The flavour is moderately sweet, enoughy balanced and obviously very hoppy. but the citrusy notes are not overwhelming. Quite clean mouthfeel, medium body, lively carbonation, dry long finish, with medium to high bitterness. Good, the American olrigin is recognizable.

Dec 4, 2008 Great looking beer with fantastic lacing. Floral and caramel aroma with some citrus. Plenty of bitterness in the taste, but by no means brutally so. The malt and floral notes, along with some white grape flavor, balance this quite well. This is a refreshing beer.

Nov 29, 2008 22oz bottle sampled at the Rogue tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits. Color is copper/amber with a big off-white head. Aroma is overtly grapefruit/hop, with a touch of malty sweetness. Flavor is super hoppy with a nice malt balance on the back end. Tasty stuff!

Nov 28, 2008 650 Ml Bottle. Pours quite hazy with a really light marshmallow head. A medium to light body with supporting bitterness. As the pint warms up i get a bit of sweetness coming through but then it snaps of sharp and clean. I didn’t realise this was a 6.2% beer as the bottle didnt have any markings it felt so light bodied i thought it was more like a 3.5% beer, I have no idea why they use the name "Brutal?" still a great beer i really enjoyed.

Nov 26, 2008 Large frothy head,mild misty orange /gold colour good looking beer,carbonation is strong.Aroma fruity,citric,malty.Flavour,smooth good hoppiness,citric taste at first,a maltiness,slight tang,gives it a lft,not that it needs it.The bitter is on perfect,mild wheat taste,could drink this all day.Finish is sweet bitter thirst quencher,great.
