Flavor is mostly grapefruit, with medium body, and a cleanly bitter finish that is very pleasing. pumpmaster (473), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA Sep 7, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Premboke Pines, FL for $2.49 Very good. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Sep 7, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Scary bitterness, but a surprising maltiness. Where’d it come from, I don’t know. Crushed a long time ago with Honkeybra before I knew beer, but I kept it in mind and I still like it...a lot. Also had it on tap in Cali, still same impression. Solid brew. Chrism86 (273), Melbourne, Australia Sep 5, 2008 Updated: May 24, 2009Pours hazy orange/amber with tiny fizzy head that dissapears in the blink of an eye. Nose displays caramel and toffee with some stewed fruit. Palate delivers big resiny hop notes, with subtle sweet malt presence. Whiskeyjack (10), , Massachusetts, USA Sep 4, 2008 Aroma of moderate roasted malts with hoppy citrus notes. Pours with a full light brown head, the beer itself is orange/amber with a degree of haze to it. It is moderately bitter but not as much as expected from the name, also a bit of sweetness as well. A tasty beverage with a medium to full body. dwaggs2 (531), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a decent white head. Aroma is pine and citrus.
