More aromatically hopped than bitterly hopped. Hops are juicy, citric and fruity; non-traditional in that way, but nevertheless tasty. Malts are not too heavy, but definitely pronounced; malty (cookie) and a little sweet; some light bread flavors, with a yeasty note. Hops are all over the place; up my nose, swirling in my saliva and residing on the backsides of my tongue. With time, residual bitterness does build, but not too much. Flavor/aroma hops take up much of the charge. Rather tasty brew. I could drink a lot of this. Cask (Newport): Smooth, rich and malty with a heavy bitterness. Even still, rather clean. Piney hops. Very tasty. Kaya161 (1129), San Diego, California, USA

Pours deep copper with huge foamy off-white head, slighlty hazy with some particles floating around, i forgot about the sediment while pouring.. oh well..no biggie. Piney hops, some orange zest and caramelly malt aroma. Hop dominant flavor with a bitter grapefruit-like finish. Slightly toasty caramel undertones. Great beer, but tasting blind, I’d probably say it was an IPA, as was mentioned before. johnson2020 (79), Canton, Michigan, USA

Nose of toasty malt and huge citrusy hops. Almost medium bodied ,toasty malt, earthy flavors mixes nicely the grapefruity hoppiness. The cascade and hallertaus really stand out and make for a distinctive flavor. Very quaffable and of the highest quality. I love this brewery......... ravidesai (915), Bombay, India

Big floral hop nose and a very pleasant bitter hoppy taste that has fruit and spice characteristics. better than rogue youngers bitter and nearly as hopped as their IPA. sayravai (3771), Helsinki, Finland

Flowery, very pleasant and distinctive aroma of fresh hops, hay and cows. Slightly sweet, grainy-malty, very aromatic-hoppy flavor. Medium-bodied, quite carbonated, but smooth and slicky palate. A very pleasant and balanced brew, but this is really more like an IPA than a bitter. FROTHINGSLOSH (2036), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vivid amber color with a large soapy yellow-white head. The aroma was sweet and fruity with a note of apricot. The flavor was fruity, tangy and bitter with an apricot element underneath. The finish was long and fruity.
