Definitley Unique to it’s style and worth paying the bucks for downhere in Bakersfield, Ca. malrubius (1002), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Mild hoppy aroma with citrus and yeast. Well-balanced flavor with nice honeyish malt character and equal balanced bitterness. Medium-full body and medium carbonation. Not nearly as brutal or as bitter as I remember. In fact, pretty damn tasty. djd07 (747), Houston, Texas, USA

I bought this beer not realizing it was an ESB; because I’ve never enjoyed an ESB before, I thought I’d hate it. WRONG! This is an ESB/IPA hybrid that is extremely enjoyable. Aroma is reminiscent of Stone IPA, but the taste is different. At first, tastes a bit like bread, with a bunch of sweetness, but quickly becomes more like an IPA. Nice bitter IPA finish. Lots of grapefruit presence (which is always enjoyable). This will be my go-to "ESB" from here on out! leeburg (149), Juneau, Alaska, USA
