Sep 29, 2006 Bottle. Pours hazy orange golden in colour with a large off-white head. This is a very nice bitter. Notes of hops, pines, citrus and herbs.

Oct 2, 2007 A copper pour with a slightly off white head. An aroma of rich malt and some hops. A very malty flavor followed by a very good progressive and lingering bitter. The palate is a little thin but the carbonation is good. A beer I like the palate and carbonation let it down some but overall very nice.

Jun 18, 2006 This amber color beer has a long lasting head with a fruity aroma. It has a tart flavor of grapefruit. And at the end you get the bitter taste that is great. This is one of the best bitters I have ever tasted.

Mar 22, 2008 Hazy orange poor with a thick sticky off-white head. Aromas of caramel, alcohol, creme brule, passion fruit, oranges, citrus with floral notes. Fruity bitter explosion... very balanced, perfectly sweet and a nice hoppy long lasting bitter bite. Creamy, velvetty mouthfeel with a medium - full body. Flavors are very fruity and added caramel. Surprisingly very good!

Feb 25, 2007 Amber color. Smell of malt, pine, evergreens, flowers, honey, citrus and hops. Taste of hops, pine, caramel, honey, malt, flowers, grapfruit, orange peal and grass. WOW! I really like this. Nice nutty bitterness at the end.

Oct 14, 2009 Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. It pours a dark orange color with a creamy white head that shrunk to a quarter inch and never went down from there. Tons of lacing and good carbonation. Aroma is floral hops and caramel. Taste is slightly bitter, malty, caramel, and dried fruit. Creamy mouthfeel. This beer is super easy to drink and wasn’t nearly as bitter as suggested by the name. I really enjoyed it.
