bomber bottle labeled "Morimoto Soba Ale" I know this site says that it is an alias of Buckwheat Ale but the a few of the ingredients are different. Anyway, you guys definitely know more about beer than I do.
pours a hazy orange color with a thin white head. nose is of citrus and sugar. the taste is wonderful and is kind of like drinking most beers in reverse. the initial taste is bitter and filled with spicy hops. after the swallow comes the magic though. the finish is of sweet candy and fruit. it is hard to explain but I do know that I will be drinking much more of this stuff.

Nov 29, 2008 When I picked out a Buckwheat ale in the store I was hoping that it would actually be a wheat beer. It did not appear to be cloudy. Little citrus in the aroma or flavor. It was better than a Bud summer beer though.

Nov 26, 2008 Large frothy head good carbonation in a straw coloured beer.Aroma wheat like,grain,no doubt soba/buck wheat okay,hoppy,malty.Flavour milky intersting,smooth,malty,a worthy drink.Has a tang.Finish hoppy,smooth,good stuff.

Nov 20, 2008 (bottle) A cloudy, light-orange beer with a medium sized white head. The aroma has sweet fruit and flowers. Flavor is sweet with only a small hop edge. Grassy and earthy. Smooth, soft, and medium bodied.

Oct 31, 2008 Bottled as Morimoto Soba Ale. Aroma is faint and vegetal. Flavor is creamy almost buttery but I don’t sense the nuttiness it supposedly has. It is a new taste but I think some what similar to Blue Moon’s Honey Moon Summer Ale. Not exactly but still reminiscent enough. Im very much liking this.

Oct 19, 2008 Labeled Morimoto Soba ale. Pours dark golden color with white head. Light malt aroma with floral hops. Flavor is slightly sweet and nutty with some hop bitterness. Medium body fith fizzy carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel with a crisp finish.
