Pours a hazy brown red with a lingering light tan froth. Aroma is pretty sweet and malty with a caramel and toast quality to it over a sweet fruity hoppiness. Flavor has some sweet candylike characteristics in the start before gaining a bitter pine hop presence. Just a slight bit of a chocolate malt character with some sharp bitterness in the finish that lingers. Medium creamy body and an active carbonation. A bit too sweet and cloying for the hops to have a good presence. Not my favorite.

Poured a murky brown color with some red tints. The head was off-white and the lacing average. The initial aroma is pleasant citrus hops and some light caramel sweetness and chocolate dryness. The flavor was pretty one-dimensional with bitter pine hops ruling the day. Some lighter citrus and chocolate attempted to compete but were fairly well trampled by the time it was all over. Thin mouthfeel, super dry, clean finish.

This starts off with a nice pine hoppy aroma, but there’s something just a bit out of place there. Pours a nice reddish-amber, with a huge craggy light tan head. Quite a tasty beer, strong hop notes, with just a hint of caramel and chocolate in the back end, finishing long and bitter. Light on the palate, but quite a tasty beer.

Sharp hoppy nose, somewhat piney and tropical fruity, maybe a mineral note. Hazy copper, large foamy head. Flavor is more balanced with a minerally finish, fairly dry and bitter too. Malts seem indistinct and bready. The is the first new Rogue beer I’ve tried in years and its a real disappointment from a brewery I’ve always liked.

Draft at Spencer’s. Pours a hazy orangey red with a bit of sirty white head. All the hop character here is very sharp and piny, and kind of hard to enjoy. I was expecting a more plesant citrus character. Lots of prickly carbonation as well. Maybe I was just fill at this point, but I didn’t really enjoy this one much.

Bottle at Nya Trols, Malmø. Murkey amber/brown - offwhite head. Bitterness, soya, knækbrød (swedish flatbread), dead indian, yeasty, berries, cheese, licorice, amber malts. OK - a bit unclean.

This drank pretty well I almost forgot to take notes. Lasting off-white head leaving clumps of lacing down the glass on an amber red body. Low aroma, mainly sweet malts, resin and burnt sugar. Nice bitterness in the taste, lessens as you get into it, not a lot of hop flavour but fairly well balanced with the malts and as said earlier drinks well.

On tap at Boise Beer Fest Pours out a amber topped with a cream head. Aroma of light malts and bitter hops. Taste was a good citrus hop along with some bread malts. Not bad.
