Bottle, 22oz. It pours a big, dense and diminishing off-white to beige head over a hazy, orange-golden body. The aroma is a nice blend of resiny, citrusy hops and malty sweetness, caramel. The sweet, caramel flavor is blending nicely with resiny and citrusy hops giving a nice bitterness. Mostly bitter in the finish. Full body. A really nice one, but I think I prefer something to go with it. (090613)

Big bottle pour, with a nice, foamy head. Very hoppy, a little too bitter for my palate. I really like how the abundant floral aroma, mixes with the dark, roasted, almost java/chocalate malt overtones. Looks very inviting in the glass, slightly cloudy, red/brown appearance. A nice beer, dedicated to a great captain and crew.

Aroma of brown sugar and raisins. Dark amber with a thin head. Sweet upfront with a very dry bitter finish. Some noticable alcohol.

(Rating #2579)

Pours a chocolate brown color with a thick foamy head. Aroma of floral hops with hint of roastiness and chocolate. Taste of fresh hops with a slight bitterness. Medium fizzy body, easy to drink with nice hop flavor.

Bottle as shown. Pours a dark cloudy amber with a medium frothy light tan head that lasts awhile leaving behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a piney hops with caramel and citrus. Medium body with a sweet hop and caramel with a nice bitter finish. A very good IPA from Rogue.
