My Bottom Line:
Honeyed and caramelized malts dominate citrusy hops until a gripping wooden hop bitterness seals every sip.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A generous head of foam topples into the cloudy dark orange.
-The nose is not as hoppy as I would have expected.
-The mouthfeel is very comfortable, with some toasted malt complexity adding to the already voluble grain profile.
-This is nothing new for Rogue, nor does it stand out in their lineup, but this doesn’t mean this is not a very enjoyable brew.

Bottle.

bottle bought for the cool label poured an amber in color with a thin off white head.aroma has upfront hops, light sweetness, earthy malt, and a bit of bitterness. flavor comes off with nice hops, pine resins, flowers, nuts, earthy malt, and sweetness that picks up as you go along.

Pretty decent ale, not sure if my opinion is strewed because Im a big fan of the show or not. But, overall Id have to day that the flavor was pleasing, and I wold get this beer again. - Not that it matters, but the bottle looks impressive too.

mostly smells of hops (a very strong odor), maybe a little salty, reminds me of the beach for some reason. surprisingly heady. amber/brown col-blah blah blah. bottle says 80 IBU’s, but I find that hard to believe since the hops is a little subdued. it starts at first taste, then gently fades off and is replaced with a somewhat wheaty, sweet flavor. palate is good, oily and refreshing. however, i wouldn’t be surprised if this beer overwhelmed my tastebuds if I drank it while eating.

(22oz bomber, thanks to bu11zeye) Pours a dark rusty orange color with light oily bubbled head and great lacing. The aroma is of creme brulee, and floral hops. Taste is hop forward but balanced with the malty sweetness. Really liked this one.

Bomber pours murky amber with firm tan head and sheet lacing. The modest aroma bubbles out notes of spicy hops, floral to earthy hops and vague sweetness. The taste is full bronzer coated beef cake hoppiness from spicy to pine to grassy and then to mild earthiness. There is a thin layer of sweet malts and roasted malts welling up from time to time. Another firm hop bomb from Rogue. Giddey-Up!

Bottle-Not what I expected, what I expected was a lot of hops, that didn’t happen and I’m happy about that. Poured a cloudy amber color with that typical large, Rouge Ale head. Yum, looks inviting! Citrusy, hoppy aroma but not overwhelming. Taste doesn’t have much hop present at all, in fact it has some malt flavoring. Simple finish. Produce place 6.79.

Growler from the Village Beer Merchant in Buffalo, NY: Muddy amber-brown color with a thin off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, accompanied by some nutty chocolate malts. Firm, resiny bitterness with some light pine flavors. Some caramel malts, some nuttiness and a touch of roast. A little orange-like citrus comes though in the finish. Not bad.
