20090630 Bomber from Spirits in Red Bank. Hazed dark amber with creamy and lasting beige head. Aroma is light bubble gum, herbal, citrus, mineral. Easy quaffing front and mid sip, creamy mouthfeel, bracing astringency to finish. Must be the free range coastal water adding a bunch of mineral/iron flavors and aromas which is okay at first but gets old real quick.

Copper brown with a rocky head, the aroma is rich and malty with some faint brown sugar. I am not getting much citrus or fruit in the aroma or taste. This one has nice malt flavor, not too roasty and a bit of hop bitterness and pepper in the finish. A solid amber.

Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a thin head. Decent head retention and good lacing. Aroma of toffee and nuts. Taste is bitter resin and leafy hops with toffee and notes of berries and tea. Medium bodied. Fairly decent.

Poured an effervescent amber with a fizzy/frothy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of pine and a bit of citrus with a touch of toffee underneath. Flavor comes through predominantly as piney hops with a touch of malt sweetness... bitter, clean, refreshing. A tasty brew that I thought was an APA... I guess I have a bit of a taste for amped-up ambers.
