Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a thin head. Decent head retention and good lacing. Aroma of toffee and nuts. Taste is bitter resin and leafy hops with toffee and notes of berries and tea. Medium bodied. Fairly decent.

Poured an effervescent amber with a fizzy/frothy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of pine and a bit of citrus with a touch of toffee underneath. Flavor comes through predominantly as piney hops with a touch of malt sweetness... bitter, clean, refreshing. A tasty brew that I thought was an APA... I guess I have a bit of a taste for amped-up ambers.

Bottle courtesy of bu11zeye. Dark red appearance. Light hop profile that turns sweet. Hoppy taste that turns dry quickly. Edges out on sweet but is ok.

Pours cloudy orange/red with a decent off-white head. Sweet citrus, pine and honey aroma. Very bitter up front with a lot of resin, then is settles to a sweeter orange, the malt thickness just isn’t quite there to support the hops. The finish is a lingering bitter with some roast.
