| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 27, 2009 Bottle... Hazy burnt orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. The Fruity, malty, earthy nose is of caramel and pine with a slap of grapefruit and undertones of tropical and fuzzy fruits. Medium to full-bodied with dancing carbonation. Moderate to medium grapefruit rind bitterness alongside unassuming caramel sweetness and a rumor of acidity. Lengthy, medium bitter finish.
