Bottle. Very hazy dark amber orange with a huge off-white head that generates thick lace and displays remarkable retention. Lots of resin in the aroma, some mango peel, sweet toffee. Hop-driven palate, with flavours of grapefruit rind and conifer resin overlying a nice sweet toasty malt platform. Very bitter finish. Delicious.

Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with an off-white head that lasts ok. Hops on the nose with notes of caramel, pine, spice and a subtle hint of mocha. Flavour also features the hops prominently as well as malt, almonds, spice and a hint of saltiness. Medium to full bodied, smooth and well rounded, this another great beer from Rogue.

Good beer, wouldn’t have called this an IPA. A little darker and maltier, but still bitter. Either way, good brew.

(Draft) Sampled at GCBF 2009 in Victoria on September 9, 2009. Pours a thin almond head with a cloudy orange body. Nice hops, cinnamon but tart as hell. Too disgusting to finish. 7/4/4/2/11

Amber pour with a good sized off white head. Aroma has caramel, chocolate, and floral hops. Malt is up front in the flavor, but the hops kick in with some lingering orange peel bitterness. Typical Rogue yeast profile going on through this one as well, which is pretty much a given. Finish is a bit rough, but not really in a bad way, decent bitterness and just a litle too much of good old pacman shining through. Good.

Bottle. Poured amber with a creamy tan head that has some lasting and left light lace. Subdued floral aroma. The flavor found caramel and pine hops. Medium body and a medium bitterness that is lasting.

Bottle from back log. Deep reddish brown pour with a sweet malt and roast aroma. Strong hop presence with a yeasty finish. A good beer.

Tall Slightly green head. Pours deep riddish brown. Slightly hazy. Really cool looking. Aroma is very hoppy and floral although not very complex . The beer is very creamy, very citrus, hoppy and floral bitter finish. This is a very ubnique IPA and I think its fantastic!!
