| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Aroma is nice and woodsy with pine and slightyly floral. Appearance is beautiful with a deep amber body and two finger head that diminishes gradually but never fades away. Taste is too bitter, a bit unpleasant, especially aftertaste. There isn’t too much to draw me to this beer. The palate is okay with a very refreshingly wet mouthfeel but a little thin. sneagrams3 (1757), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 30, 2009 The Dan Journal #314. Tasted 11/4/09. 22oz bomber. Hazy with a brown amber hue. Brainy tan head. Aromas of Melons and spices. Estery. Decent burn in the nose. Medium to full bodied with a big palate. Good malt bill. Huge effervescence and a tingling palate. Very bitter with big grapefruit flavors in the hops. Bright and good. Definitely a re-buy! Suttree (2732), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Typical Rogue, I suppose. Not that that is a bad thing, it’s just simple, fairly well made, no surprises. Piney, caramelly nose, and the flavor cashes the check the aroma writes. Tasty and easy to drink. pyromt30 (18), Lebanon, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2009 bottle - Pours murky amber with an off-white head. It smells of caramel malt and citrus hops. The flavor is similar with very caramel rich malt and tons of hops that throws in some citrus character. It’s pretty intense for a single IPA and has more body than is usual. Nice brew.
