| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2009 I risked getting Rogues and picked up a bomber of Northwestern Ale at the Binny’s in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. It poured a hazy brownish amber body with a tall rocky ecru head and had lace clumping on the sides of the glass. Nice aroma, pine, earth, and citrus rind over a caramelly malt sweetness. The flavor reflected the aroma, but the hops never seemed to provide a serious bite. It seemed (in the taste) to be more of an aggressive APA than an IPA. Still, quite sessionable.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 30, 2009 Typical Rogue, I suppose. Not that that is a bad thing, it’s just simple, fairly well made, no surprises. Piney, caramelly nose, and the flavor cashes the check the aroma writes. Tasty and easy to drink. pyromt30 (16), Lebanon, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 28, 2009 bottle - Pours murky amber with an off-white head. It smells of caramel malt and citrus hops. The flavor is similar with very caramel rich malt and tons of hops that throws in some citrus character. It’s pretty intense for a single IPA and has more body than is usual. Nice brew. The aroma is evident as soon as I popped the cap. Oranges, carmel and a hint of cranberry on the nose. Medium body with sweet toffee, light tobacco, citrus with a very long spicy, peppery finish. This doesn’t suck!! markas101 (560), Fargo, North Dakota, USA

Citrus and pine aroma. Mellow first sip that builds in hop character, from sweet syrup to bitter pepper 10 seconds later. BelgianBeerGal (1289), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Bottle grabbed in Portland. Pours a rather dark brown with a khaki head and sticky lacing. Aroma is rather sweet hops and a little malt. The flavour is more malt but the hops seem a little flat on the bitterness compared to the sweetness in the aroma. Long finish. I like the basic 100m Ale better
