| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 2, 2008 22 fl oz bottle. Pours almost golden orange with a lacing white head. Woody, spiced and light smoked aroma. Flavour starts smooth malty and gains a slight vegetable note with a mild burning chili finish. Finish is slowly increasing in burning intensity from the chili. spud1987 (46), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 1, 2008 Medium brown-amber color. Aroma of malt, and some spice. Flavor was that of a basic ale at first. The chipotle then kicked in making a nice spicy burn in the mouth. Overall it tasted like a basic unremarkable ale with some spice. It was a nice change though, goes good with desserts. thewolf (5782), Kolding, Denmark

[at Yesprs tuesday tasting]
Pours orange amber with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is light caramel and heavy doses of chili. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour is softly sweet, but there is a lot of chili in there. Would have preferred a lot more maltiness to balance it. faroeviking (6092), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 1, 2008 Botella. Nice deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma of spiced chipotle indeed. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with a good chipotle spiciness (not hot), some smoke, some malt and with a comfortable mild bitterness. The finish is spiced and malty. The chipotle chili would be better to add in a stout instead of an ale. Thanks Kim. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 30, 2008 Pours a dark amber with a small beige head and light lacing. Aroma of light chili pepper (spicy). Flavor is the same with light sweet malt. Medium body, sticky texture. Jalapenos really come out in the finish. Grovlam (3810), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 29, 2008 Bottle. [Courtesy of BelJohansen, thanks buddy] Average creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Somewhat clear amber colour. Aroma was somewhat spicy with note of mild hops, chilli and malt. Over the palate came dusty grain thick oily spic and chilli. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet and bitter. Spicy and chilli like lingering finish. Quit a unique experience and a good mild chilli burn at the very end. SoLan (1426), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 19, 2008 Amber. Small white head. Lightly toasted cookie malt, past ripe fruit, and subtle chipotle. Just a touch of spice on the finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Easy drinking amber with some spice, would like more chipotle.
