| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 24, 2009 when cold, it’s likea regular amber with a slight nose of pepper, but as it warms you really start to get a glowing sensation of high quality fresh pepper. The sting really warms your mouth, kind of like an icy hot sensation, for very long time after your last sip. Malty and peppery is all I can really say to decribe the flavor. Good stuff tho- way better than Chili Beer. JBVatkeens (12), Florida, USA

This beer is enjoyable for it’s unique-ness. Very cloudy in appearance with a dark caramel color. Flavor is bold pepper, not spicy but smoky and while different, rather enjoyable if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary. poisoneddwarf (222), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA

Light caramel presence is also detectable. Aromas open up a bit after it sits a bit. Pours orangish-amber with a nice head which dissipates in about two minutes. Good lacing. Tastes of peppers and tobacco; only moderately spicy. Medium body, medium carbonation. I’m a little disappointed in this one. While not bad, I’ve had better chili beers (Coopersmith!!!). | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Deep golden in colour. Very malty aroma, mild chipotle pepper.... blah blah I get what they are going for here, just not for me. Have to try again, with food believe it will be much better. jjuf1853 (482), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Bomber. Poured a golden orange color with a medium sized head. Very distinct malty aroma with a fair amount of chipotle peppers. The first sip was a little unusual as it was hard to fully grasp the combination of the malt and peppers, but this one really grew as I continued to drink. I will definitely try again! waltersrj (52), Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Pours clear copper amber with a small off white head. The nose is pepper mainly with some caramel underneath. The taste is dominated by chili pepper but has somewhat of a moderate hop taste. Ok beer. Interesting though.
