This is a good ale, very red in color, with a slight pepperiness in the nose. Not much pepper in the taste, it seems to be used only for aromatic purposes. Some smokiness to it.

Aug 28, 2008 Dark amber pour with a spicy nose. Spicy flavor with hints of malts, pepper, and roast (almost smokey)

Aug 26, 2008 I was rather disappointed in this beer. Way too spicy for my taste. Aroma was awesome with malts and pepper. Flavor was smokey and peppery. My beer tasted almost exactly like liquid smoke. Not good.

Aug 22, 2008 I had’nt before now ever had a beer that had peppers in it. I very much enjoy it. It pours a golden shade of amber with a retreating tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts and subtle chilis. Flavor is very smooth initialy, then the chipotle sorta jumps out atcha in the finish. I really enjoy it.

Aug 18, 2008 Poured a hazy/cloudy deep golden color with decent white head that dissipated pretty quickly. Aroma is very malty and peppery. Flavor is peppery with smoky notes to it as well. The mouthfeel was thin to medium. I liked this a lot, but I think one bomber would probably be my limit at any one time.

Aug 14, 2008 Clear dark amber pour with a creamy head that lasts. Sweet roasty malt and smoky chiles in the aroma. Flavor starts sweet and caramely, but gives way to the smoky chile flavor on the finish. I found the two flavors to clash a bit too much to make this great, but it was interesting.
