Bomber. Dark as night in color with a creamy, rich head. Light chocolate note in aroma. Sharp bitter on the palate at first. Gives way to a light chocolate after flavor.

( 22oz bomber) pours dark choc brown and great lasting bubbles. Nose of chocolate cake, alc, sweet biscuit, absolutely delicious. Taste us very unsweetened chocolate and caramel. Light bitter hop presence, and lingers the same way. If this beer tasted like it smelled it would be phenomenal.

Good but not great. Lots of dark chocolate on the nose and in the mouth. A slight bitterness on the tail. Thin bodied for 6.3%. Could use a bit of fattening up. Othewise good solid drinking. On tap at the Wheatsheaf in Adelaide.

Bottle. Pours murky, deep brown with a tan, thick head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, and hints of spice. Rich, full body with a smooth, creamy finish. Great stout.

A roasted nose of pommac and green olives. The taste is of ashes, chocolate, metal, and fernet. Finish is bitter, smokey and dusty. This one hasn’t benefited from the months in Gunnars cabinet, I’d wager. Maybe i should rerate it, if I get around to do it.
