A very sour and pungent aroma, containing perhaps some paint, some flowers, and some minty cream. Clear orange appearance. Smooth and creamy texture, with floral flavors, and some weird wood and soap flavors.

Pellucid bronze color with light head and a little lacing. The aroma is slightly hoppy with a light toasty malt background. Flavor sways a little more toward the hoppy side but is still quite drinkable. The finish is moderately bitter & tangy. Decent entry into the 15th anniversary.

Pours with a nice deep gold coloring. The white head faded quickly. The aroma was honey and wheat maltiness. Flavor is very subtle and well balanced. The bread crust taste also has a hint of grapefruit. Very subtle and enjoyable. Thanks, Flipbrewer for the hook up.

Pours a dark golden color with a small white head and no lacing. Grassy and light citrus hop aroma. Also sweet malts are present in the aroma. A nice balance here, nothing over the top. Begins malty sweet and light bitterness throughout.

22 oz bottle thanks to Jeff (radiomgb). Pours a bottle conditioned (lots of sediment) hazy deep golden/yellow with a foamy white head flecked with yellow. Smells grassy, herbal and sweet, hints of lightly bitter yellow fruit (starfruit comes to mind, kiwi, touch of lemon). Hops are aromatic but not in your face. Flavor is malty sweet (angel food cake, cookie dough) with some late bitterness from the hops, though not too much of it. Wonderful flavor and the body is medium with a smooth almost creamy palate. Fairly crisp finish, but I would ask for a bit more hoppy bitterness, as it does stay quite malty and sweet.

A nice mellow, session pale ale. Very drinkable, very smooth. Tastes like a strong pilsener. I like it.

I picked up the bottle at the Brewery in 2004. It had a cool label on it. I honestly don’t remember what the beer was like. But I have the bottle to prove that I had it. I remeber it being basic but still great.

Light unfiltered pumpkin. Creamy, rocky dusty-white head. Simplistic aroma of earthy hops, lightly toasted malt, and phenols overlain by their hallmark buttery yeast. Fairly rooty and musty, as well. Watery, fuzzy carbonation. Tight hop bitterness clashes with the buttery yeast and acidity, leaving behind some husky, nutty malt flavors. Firm, toasted crackery maltiness emerges at the core supported by a brash, peppery hop presence. One-dimensional finish of toasted malt and yeast. Buttery yeast and coarse hop notes hang on amid the ensuing phenolic belches. You’ve gotta love a brewer who’ll push the envelope and try new things from time to time, but if this is all they can conjure, sticking to non-organic brewing would be best for them.
