22 oz. bottle. I meant to drink this last weekend for Father’s Day and forgot I had this in the refrigerator. Pours a hazy antique gold with a moderate white sudsy head that quickly disappeared. Strong aroma of corn typical in a malt liquor along with some tart green apple aromas. Flavor is corn and malt with a crisp finish. I did not find this beer to be particularly harsh for a malt liquor, or in general for that matter. Easily finished off the bomber with my barbecued hot dogs for lunch. Talk about a meal for dad, malt liquor and hot dogs, it doesn’t get much better than that!

22 oz. bottle - pours clear and gold; malt and slight fruity aromas; tastes sweet and very basic for a rogue brew

draft- terrible. so weird that this comes from rogue, one of the premier craft breweries in this country. Tastes very similiar to mass produced, adjunt heavy canadian beers. Real abrasive alcohol presense. Please don’t drink or buy.

On tap at the Drafting Room. Kind of harsh taste; warm and sweet. Corn overpowers the malts. Grassy hops with alcoholic finish.

This brew was even and not overpowering at all and I found it to be very easy drink. I guess it is just a nicer version of malt liquor. I enjoy my taste buds to be pushed as close to a state of shock as possible (or at the least intrigued a bit), so I probably wouldn’t go for it again, but it was worth trying just to check out another Rogue production.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev & jerc - courtesy of HogTownHarry. Light golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Medium body. Flavour is simple and well-balanced, with a lot of grain and corn. Better than your average malt liquor, but certainly nothing I’ll need to drink again.
