Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc and tupalev, my bottle. Hazy/oily-looking wan gold, dead wisp of head. Smells of cheap alcohol, corn, and dead flowers. Tastes the same, more dried flowers, a hint of plastic in the mercifully quick finish. Thin, watery body, astringent, weak carbonation, boozy pvc finish. Why????

On tap at Rogue ale house Newport OR. Pours out clear yellow with no head. Sweet malt and grain. Not bad for a malt liquor.

(bottle - 22 oz) Slightly hazy gold color with no head and very light carbonation. Aroma is normal malt liquor. Corn, metal, gasoline, and some drywall. Very sweet beginning with dry hops and some sweetness that makes your stomach go a little funky. Finishes watery and like almost every other malt liquor.

From a 22 oz. distinctive Rogue bomber bottle with a list of ingredients and a short blurb along the right side of bottle, good with pork stamp at the bottom, spring 2007 edition, 7.2% ABV. Sampled ice cold in a lager glass. Poured a chill hazy orangey golden with a small foamy, bubbly white head, settled into a thin sudsy lacing, minimal amount of ringed sticking, actually not that bad looking. A nice, pleasant sweet malt liquor nose, I’m impressed, the pilsener yeast really comes through, sweet pale malts with highlights of sweet corn, a good lemon honey fruitiness, traces of alcohol, not fusel or solvent, but a clear gin-like alcohol, overall, an appealing aroma for a malt liquor. Good steady carbonation, not fizzy at all, and a sweetly crisp, dry, thin, for a malt liquor, silky smooth, none of the alcoholic roughness one expects with the style, light bodied mouthfeel, wins points with me. Since I am no longer living in poverty, a member of the working poor, I am now part of the petty bourgeoisie, malt liquor has lost a lot of it’s appeal to me, but for the style, I found this to be quite enjoyable, easy to consume, lemon honey and sweet corn, thin, sweet pale malts that meshes well with the alcohol, providing a sugary warmth in the palate, none of that sickly sugary sweetness that a lot of malt liquors have, the hops are minimal, true to the style, and a dry, thin malty, lemony finish, a nice and clean finish, no alcoholic harshness, well done.

22 oz. bottle. Poured out a piss yellow, with a thin soapy head. This shit gave me an instant stomach ache. It has to be spoiled or nasty from jump street. Even my g/f says it’s spolied. Citrusy nose, with soapy background. Smells a lot like lemon Joy. Certified drain pour.

Appearance: Pours a bright, clear yellow body with a creamy white head. Smell: Aroma of cooked corn with a single pat of butter. There’s some faint, nearly indiscernible hops in the scent, but you gotta sniff past alot of corn to find them. Taste: Sweet and grainy, with a heaping ladle of cafeteria corn niblets and a dash of 99 Bananas. Light hop bitterness on the altogether weak finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Softly carbonated. Drinkability: This beer’s a gag in every sense of the word! ... This IS a gag beer, right?

(draft) clear golden yellow. dominant metallic flavor with a sweet aftertaste. not what i normally look for in a beer but i must admit the taste grew on me as i made my way through. according to ambrose, "its a little better than sucking on a penny." that about sums it up.

Yellow-orange with a thin fuzzy white head. Very dry straw aromas. Dry taste with a thin palate. Malty, low hop character. Nothing spectactular.
