22oz - Aroma of corn, pale malts and corn syrup. Pours transparent yellow with a small head and great lacing. Flavor matches aroma and is not very tasty. Palate is sticky and tart. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a malt liquor and if this is one of the better examples, probably the last.

I liked it. Of course, this is my first beer rating here, as I’m venturing away from the standard over the counter junk. I’ve bought many new beers, so I’m sure it’s going to find it’s place amongst my list.

22 oz bomber. No freshness date noted.

Hazy golden with a creamy white head and spotty lace.

Aroma of sweet corn, grain, light brown sugar.

Flavor is sweet, malty, sugary, buttery, with a bit of hops on the finish.

Not bad for a sweet malt liquor, much better than the OE, Mickeys, Steel that make up this genre.

650ml brown bottle. Pours yellow, almost a canary yellow shade. Hazy. Holds a small tight white head. Very light aroma, dusty malt. Sweet flavour, sugary malt start, trace of sweet orangey/citrus hops. A bit of alcohol there too. Finish is a bit corny, aftertaste quite a bit grainy and cerealy. Doesn’t have the harshness I usually associate with this style, but it’s still malt likka.

Bomber bottle. It’s got that Colt .45 color, and a head of foam like a urine sample. Big, big corny taste, even a bit of the harsheness and chemical diacetyl of a mass produced malt liquor. Just enough to remind us how this style has come once real brewers started to meddle with it.

Was not very happy with this beer at all. I bought for around $5 and was expecting better. Beer has an orangish-tan appearance and had a decent head after initial pour but it didn’t last long. The taste was not very desirable. It wasn’t very bitter but it left an astringic like taste on my palate. After taste was equally unpleasant and I’m not looking forward to finishing the rest of the pint!

Bottle. Pours hazy golden-orange color, with a medium sized white head. Aroma is basically all malt, duh. Flavor is mild hops, malt, perhaps some breadiness, grainy. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes lightly bitter. Not horrible, not good either.

Bottle...very sweet-malty character followed by a yeasty bread-like aftertaste. Got on sale for 2.99, I would pay that again, but at full price almost all the other Rogues are a better choice.
