Beer has an orangish-tan appearance and had a decent head after initial pour but it didn’t last long. The taste was not very desirable. It wasn’t very bitter but it left an astringic like taste on my palate. After taste was equally unpleasant and I’m not looking forward to finishing the rest of the pint! ogglethorp (890), Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 11, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy golden-orange color, with a medium sized white head. Aroma is basically all malt, duh. Flavor is mild hops, malt, perhaps some breadiness, grainy. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finishes lightly bitter. Not horrible, not good either. lewis13 (49), Kokomo, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Bottle...very sweet-malty character followed by a yeasty bread-like aftertaste. Got on sale for 2.99, I would pay that again, but at full price almost all the other Rogues are a better choice. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 1, 2007 This $4.99 bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops breads and orange peel. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 5, 2007 I don;t understand the hatred here. This is not a bad beer. Slightly somkey vegital grainyness and a hint of sweet malt. Nice grainy biscuity flavor, with a decent alcohol kick. This is a great malt liquor, maybe not a great beer, but a great malt liquor. eboats (901), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Almost honey colored with a white head. Aroma is mostly smokey malts. Body is light and not smokey at all. Flavor is very sweet corn with some raisin. Very smooth with little carbonation. Quite sweet. NJBeerman013 (785), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 17, 2007 bottle - 650 ml -- Malt Liquor? probably the best malt liquor I have ever had. Its a fairly balanced beer that hides the alcohol level well. Sweet corn flavor, good hoppy bite. Given the beer’s name, it’s only fitting to dedicate my 300th rating to my Dad. Now to just get him away from light beer. haha 505 (271), Echo Park, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2007 Poured pale, no head. Aroma was corn, sweet. Flavor was actually decent though, some complexity and rather drinkable. Medium bodied. Props for making a malt liquor.
