DrDavid (157), , Vermont, USA Aug 27, 2008 (Bottle). Mild sweet malty aroma. Color is orange amber with a thin white head. Flavor is unexpectedly fruity, rather mild, and is followed by a very nice dry malty finish that lingers. gearbike (351), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Aug 27, 2008 Reddish amber from tap. Sweet with almost no hop taste. Drinkable but nothing really stands out. Just a bit flat and blah. nqualls (185), Tennessee, USA Aug 27, 2008 12 ozer poured into a shaker. Poured a dark gold color with a small white head. aroma is of sweet malt and some piney hops. Flavor is slightly nutty with sweet malt and a hoppy bite at the end. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. drjay44 (115), USA Aug 25, 2008 22 oz. bottle. Pours a nice collapsing head, attractive dark honey yellow color, aroma of honey, other spices flow in, taste complex with multiple flavors that do not quite balance in my mouth, there is a bitter twang that comes in at the finish. I’d really like to try it on tap.
